Welcome to FIG Restaurant, a seasonally inspired kitchen located inside the gates of Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows. As you arrive, you will notice our more than 130 year old Moreton Bay fig tree. The tree, planted by the original owner of the hotel’s property, has stood for more than a century and welcomed guests as they come to experience a one of a kind atmosphere.
At FIG, Executive Chef Yousef Ghalaini delivers a Mediterranean inspired menu, focusing on ingredients and produce sourced from the very best farmers in California. By combining a variety of cooking methods, Chef Yousef and his team deliver a modern, health-focused menu in an inviting neighborhood setting.

Meet at FIG for “FIG at 5” (1/2 off most menu items from 5pm – 6pm) available 7 nights a week. Known as the best happy hour in Los Angeles, guests can enjoy dishes such as steamed manila clams with vadouvan potato puree, and fresh bucatini pasta with heirloom eggplant, asparagus, sundried tomato and pecorino. As a proud supporter of local farms, Chef Yousef works with local growers to find the freshest seasonal ingredients.
Great Food, Close Friends and really, really good cheese
Enjoy a variety of domestic and international cheeses sourced specifically by the restaurant’s very own fromager (aka cheese guru), Eric Brazel. Eric, who has a special feature on FIG’s menu better known as Eric’s Stash, works behind the restaurant’s own cheese bar and pairs charcuterie and cheese board specific to guests preference.
