FIG, located in Santa Monica at the Fairmont Miramar, is a neighborhood bistro committed to fresh, seasonal cuisine. The menu features diverse Southern California bounty, sourced from multiple weekly visits to the local farmers markets and from specialty foragers that comb the coastline for hard to find items. And although dishes are added and subtracted based on ingredient availability, you can be sure perennial favorites like our Lobster Cobb Salad or Mary’s Chicken have a permanent place on the menu.
Executive Chef Jason Prendergast, trained in the classic French tradition, brings a fresh, modern style of cooking that emphasizes the innate flavors of each ingredient. Prendergast has longstanding relationships with local farmers, ranchers and fishermen, providing him with access to the best and freshest local harvests. In fact, he knows this farmers and fishermen so well that he can tell you where livestock was raised and what their diet consisted of, name the fisherman, and tell you where his catch was caught. Per state and city regulations, a face covering is required to dine with us, we may only offer outdoor seating, we maintain social distancing guidelines of 6ft between parties, and we are unable to seat parties over 6 people together.
