FIG, an American bistro, achieves something rare and almost impossible: A rustic yet refined cuisine that is both a favorite of the local community and a coveted destination for world travelers.
“I’m in daily contact with local farmers to see what’s new or just ready to come out of the ground. The menu evolves every two to three weeks, based on fresh, flavorful ingredients that tell a unique story.”

Our Story Our Team
“It’s all about relationships and community. We collaborate with local growers and almost everything is sourced within 50 miles of FIG. They’re not just the farmers we work with, they’re our friends.”

The Potting Shed
“In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.” –Alice Walker
The Potting Shed, a magical setting lit up with gorgeous sunsets and an enchanting golden hour, has roots in the history of Georgina Jones, who built the original Miramar with her husband and planted our namesake Moreton Bay FIG tree. Georgina, a gifted botanist, dispensed herbal tonics from the original Potting Shed, now an intimate spot for special events and small private parties.
